can village become town?
when you build some structures in your village, can you see them when you enter village?

Not in native..

Villages will not be able to improve to a town or a castle. Also often you cannot see any changes in your town/village when you have upgraded it.

If you want to play a mod which has that kind of content I should suggest Custom Settlements. It offers nice features to build your own city/town from a small settlement.
