@ Hersir

"A hersir was a local military commander of a hundred and owed allegiance to a jarl or king. They were also aspiring landowners, and, like the middle class in many feudal societies, supported the kings in their centralization of power. The hersir was often equipped with a conical helmet and a short mail coat. Most would wield an iron sword, mostly augmented with a wooden shield. They were also known to wield one- or even two-handed axes. The hersir would always fight on foot, usually as part of a shield wall formation. Another formation was also used, the Svinfylking, which was a variation to the shield wall but with several wedge like formations pointing towards the enemy creating a zig zag pattern. Although excellent against other foot troops the Vikings were frequently defeated by mounted troops."

but im sure you found that out XD

Well, I think Hersirs were also the guys in charge of vikings, they lead the men as they sacked monasteries and such, they were basically military commanders for kings and nobles (Jarls).

Oh and AGE OF MYTHOLOGY FTW!!!

Yeah, Quote fail but whatever. I meant that in the beta I thought I rememberd people who were purplish. My bad

One question i have about the shield bash is: Have you fixed the sound delay? I bet I can recall something like that in the mods released with shield bash.

And another question: Will you implement the "wound script" by chel?

The lack of health bar and perma death might make this pretty scary to play.
PRECISELY! However, I want to add a sort of opaque red screen when you drop below 20 or 30% health. So you can still tell when you're about to die.

Just have to say upon trying this mod I was pleasantly surprised. Enjoying holding my shield up against five babbling, half starved looters - I, with a bit of effort disected them for the worms. The blood is really realistic, and the new animations make it feel much cooler. Then I recruited about 9 guys and was strangely attacked by some snow boat that had 23 carls...

Here I was ****ting myself. I decided 'bahh, lets just give it a go'. I reached battle and charged my men down at the enemy from a hill. After a casuality-heavy battle we won

Gotta praise ya already, a great mod in the making. Some questions - how to hunt, is it possible that you can get a patch for the miracle making (water walking) and the snow ships? also settler town I found Valdemar acts like a castle(go to gates) if this could be fixed it will help at lot thanks
