Thanks Gods someone has mentioned Falkenbach! This is almost the only authentic viking project yet, other stuff is either black metal (Bathory, Enslaved and so on), either pop-corn pseudo-viking for metalheads (Ensiferum, Amon Amarth etc.)
Also I can suggest Storm - this is quite raw and mostly folk project of Satyr Wongraven from Satyricon, and that's not black but fine metal with good ambience and folklore viking mood - and Isengard - the old thing much alike, the viking project of the guy from Darkthrone as far as I remember, but I'm not sure at all about the latter.

If I'm traveling a lot I listen to easier stuff, usually baroque period like Vivaldi, Robert De Visee, Bach, etc. I'll add a few clips of them.
