Hi, this is Pachinko, and I'm gonna start a fanfiction thread in the above topic. The story is based in Calradia, and the hero is a blonde young Nord by the name of Aedgarr. All the factions are present (of Warband; though political situations are different), and all comments, suggestions and questions are welcome. New ideas are also welcomed. Here we go:

CHAPTER I:  THE INTRODUCTION

The story is of a young bold Nord, Aedgarr. Born in the fisherman village of Ruvar, which had seen a lot of bloodshed since time immemorial, between Nords and Vaegirs, he was the son of a lowly fisherman. His life was changed when, on a night as dark as the wings of a raven, his village was attacked by drunk Vaegir soldiers. They asked for a night's company with the beautiful young daughter of the village chief. The chief relented, and the village was doomed. Those savages, may the Watcher curse them, set the huts on fire, slaughtered the cattles, burned their fishing boats, and slaughtered everyone they encountered, including the chief, the girl, and the father of the young Aedgarr, too young to understand anything. However, he lived, much to one's surprise, as his mother carried him and ran away, in the disguise of a Vaegir whom she had stabbed to death. She was a Nord, after all, who known for their battle-prowess.

For 18 years, they lived in the city of Wercheg, with her mother working as a barmaid in one of the taverns. His mother was usually the victim of the eyes of the much seedier residents of the city. The life wasn't much better, either. She barely managed to earn enough to make her and her son's ends meet. However, one thing she always taught Aedgarr was bloodshed, sword-wielding, and revenge against the Vaegirs, for she always knew that they deserved this for ruining their lives.

But now that her son, Aedgarr, had grown up, she knew that he will live up to his expectations, and do what was right.
