Can you make so thanes all tier are not mixed infantry and cavalry. Its hard to make a proper line with infantry when theres warhorses standing in it. And you cant do a proper cav charge cause theres some people without horses!
There is only one troop line in game like that and that is the Thane tree. What I normally do with them is putting them all thanes in one new group named Thanes. In battle you simply select the thane group and command them to dismount or vice versa.
