In 1.9, the devs finally added positive modifiers to armor and weapons. I suggest that they also add a functionality to weapon/armor/bow & shield vendors in towns to upgrade gear for a cost, like in Viking Conquest, sometime in the future. We would need to go into the town scenes and talk to these individual vendors to repair/upgrade our gear. The addition of this functionality, the future implementation of back alley management (and maybe the addition of prostitutes which would increase your party morale for a fee) in town would give so much incentive for the players to go in the beautifully crafted town scenes.
