As you can see from the following resource browser screen, mi_stu_tower_1 is darker than other Sturgian map icons, making it stand out when editing settlement icons:
After deleting the AssetPackages map_icon_parts.tpac and EmAssetPackages pack_21.tpac the replacement files loaded by a steam verification remained the same. I checked with @FoozleMcDoozle and the problem existed in his 1.6.0 version also. He also pointed out that the problem was inverted normals combined with the double-sided nature of map icon materials.
This mismatch shows up very clearly in the editor, but is less obvious in game as can be seen in the attached screenshot with 10x versions of mi_stu_tower_1 and mi_stu_tower_2 sat side by side for comparison:
PS A quick review of mi_* assets in the resource browser suggests that mi_emp_artisan_4 may have the same problem.
