Starting Area by Culture

It would be nice if we could start in the cultural area of the culture we choose. If I choose khuzaits, I'd like to start in Khuzait. Same for other factions.

Yes, the map is fairly small, but I really do not want to recruit Imperial troops

Download a mod Cultured Start from Nexus. It does that.

I would imagine they will change this to let you choose a town to spawn from eventually.

I hope for the same, the best part of the story (in warband) was that it was quick and simple, and tossed you at a city of your general cultural affinity.

I really loved warband's character creation. Very simple but lots of flavor. The more I read posts on the forum the more I miss Warband's charm. Charm that Bannerlord sorely needs.

Download "Just let me play" from Nexus. It does that while also removing the annoying repetitive and unfinished "story".

I agree with this 100%. It would be fairly easy to implement too.

Only issue is this doesn't work well if you are doing the training introduction missions.

You can just make a new version of the introduction quest and a new training camp for each area. The Banner was lost anyways, it could be anywhere on the continent.

How about a sandbox campaign like Viking Conquest instead?
