So I hear a steam message pop up and alt tab to answer it(

I took the first item available to see whether or not it actually works, then dropped it and quit the server. If I had armed myself to teeth, the game would become disgusting that very second.

Neither, as I said though, it's probably related to the issue. IT appeared mid game without me quitting or anything, just as I opened that box.
Anyway, here's more screenshots of basically my best and luckiest Day Z survival attempt thus far. Decided to end the session for today, still alive and well, expecting my friends to join me tomorrow.

Oh, and gear I picked off a dead man hiding in some thick bushes near the northern airfield:
Somebody was walking around as I was looting the corpse. Rushed to hide the body after picking him clean. That was intense.
