Why nobody preparing the ground before building your kingdom?  :grin:
The best thing is that you establish good relations with the surrounding kingdoms that are going to win, and you're ready to make a good garrison on the town that you conquest.

Umm, also guys I've been playing for about 6 hours yesterday and I only heard about 7 songs in total.

Hehe, there are ambient sound create for Adorno also. If you hear voice in tavern, sounds of nature while traveling, etc... it is like songs, but of ambient.

If you can, it would be interesting if you can look the power of weapons (speed + damage) to seek an optimal balance. This may have some weapons are more lethal than they should be in the game.

For example, that a dagger is the most powerful weapon in the game.  :grin:

In principle, most of the weapons should be fine, but surely there are things to improve.

Note: For the next version we have increased the speed of the two-handed weapons and damage to the javelins type.

Meaning the fort on the river At, was the most influential town in the kingdom of Dál Riata;
a kingdom situated in (modern) western Scotland and a small part of northern Ireland.

In the year 636 Dál Riata is still in its Golden Age, but dark clouds are gathering...
The Picts, Alt Clud and the kingdom of Bernaccia (later Northumbria) pose a serious threat
and Dun At must stand the test against numerous enemies.

Will Dun At fall, and with it the kingdom of Dál Riata, or is there a new dawn for the Dalriadic people?

I got a suggestion about the see travel
Thought it would be good to have a restriction how many soldiers the boats can take.
Like 20-30 soldiers. If you raid a village they will fight.

Perhaps not well thought idea but man i just wanna raid with the long boat
 
i tried to kill some routing troops with my pitch fork (on horse). nearly every attack has been parried even if i attacked them from behind.

it was a ~16 dena raiders group.

ps. is it possible to add a weapon range info for the throwing weapons like javelins when used in melee? currently we can see how much damage they do but not the weapon reach.
 
Gonna be a possibility that you can choose betwen low damage and realistic damage? Seems like it would make more sence to get hit in the head with a sword or a spear might finish you.
 
True enough, but the game is set in an Era where-by no-one sits on his Computer all day watching porn or playing video games.

You have to be strong to survive, and the unfortunate weaklings will die.

I think it's realistic enough as it is, a fully grown man in the Dark Ages of the British Isle won't be killed by a slash to the chest or one stab wound.

And here's my progress in-game.

Playing Time : Around 100 hours or so.

Factions eliminated : Dyfed, Gwynned.

Yes, I'm planning on uniting whole Wales under one banner, mine.

im still pretty sure pain is a universal thing and that not eveyone was some super soldier able to carry 3 javelins in his chest. a stab wound that penetrates deeply would incapacitate near everyone except the beast of men. guys who would actually look like Thor just some big 6 ft 4 hairy mother f**ker. weapon damages need to go up and keep armor the same maybe boost up slightly chainmal ect to balance it out because they could very well deflect several glancing thrusts or direct swings before bursting. i think the only problem thats annoying people is that stabbing a guy in a cotton shirt feels like your poking him with a feeble twig. so i think that the basic idea is that for example a naked dude like the picts should realistically be able to take about 2-3 glancing blows or 1 direct penetrating hit. a guy in a leather jacket would be able to take like  like 3-4 glancing hit and 1 maybe 2 direct hits 2 if hes a hard mother...
this isnt like the bible what ive said here but its my 2 cents obviously dont go exactly around this but i think you can get the general basis to what im talking about
 
i just modded the weapon damage myself lol

Javalins and throwing spears take about 50% of my life wehn im wearing bryme.
