Possible LOTR Reference

Users who are viewing this thread

I was just casually conquering Calradia, again, and in the middle of a siege, I've seen a tree which is white and has no leafs on it.
I honestly don't remember which castle this was.

So the real question is:
Is this White Tree a LOTR reference?

I feel offended by that, I´m not sure about what exactly yet but I´ll find something :iamamoron:
Changing the color of the tree ruins the entire plot of the story. I am personally offended and deeply hurt. The writer clearly wanted the tree to have a specific color and sex and changing it is like spitting on his grave. The showrunners clearly don't give two ****s about loyal fans who've read all the books atleast a million times. Well, they've lost my money as I won't be watching anything that involves a brown tree.
EDIT: I looked it up and on page 663 of the Simmilariolinith, line 64, it states: White Tree. So clearly it shouldn't be anything other then white. Why they'd change it is beyond me. Insane!
