I followed Volkonski's advice and have tried to make it more metallic looking, however I think he said that about the Uruk swords as they're supposed to be meaner and darker and more battered.

Feels like its not broad enough for a Rohirrim weapon

Couple of things to consider:

The metal looks like crumpled foil. Think about any actual solid piece of metal you might have seen. It has a grain like wood does, so if the surface isn't smooth, it's likely to have pits or plateaus somewhat parallel to the surface, not big angular dents and gashes.

As Rath0s said, the thing is probably fatter than the average estoc, so slim it a fair whop if that's not intentional. The part where it gets thicker near the hilt might seem cool, but I can barely see it with the texture on and it's using a a bit if geometry. Not sure why the grip has to be two cylinders either.

Too much AO on the blade and not enough on the hilt.
 
true, i wanted to include the buckle at the end but got carried away to get this done. and yeah gonna add dem buttons. thanks.

The blade looks bit weird, indeed. It's very thick and narrow. It could use more faces along the blade. And if you wish, you can play with the pommel a little. Some ornaments and stuff. Now it looks very simple.

Looks quite good, love the beard. But in my opinion the eyes looking quite strange, I would try something like this for the eyes:

Neat texture, but I don't think the hair is as good as the other parts. It should be sections of different tones of brown, rather than one tone with black lines.

As for the model, the plait seems too flat and it's odd to have it small at the ends without any visible change in density.

The cheeks also look uncomfortably hollow, but maybe that's just an illusion. I guess you've built it on a head model.
 
All right, all you pros. This may be a bummer after something very cool like смертник did and some crazy wheelchair. But this is my very first model ever and I'd appreciate some feedback. I know the texturing is not too well done yet, but I am a bit tired right now with fighting with the uv maps... By the way the helmet has 404 verts, 782 edges, 375 faces - is that too much for Warband? Or just O.K.?
