Just logical issue like it described in title. I didn't find any possibility to let go my family member. Also companion die when trying to release him, which kinda stupid.

Family members and companions are different. One NPC can't be a companion if he/she is a family member. You can't send away your family members.
Is it possible for companion to leave and survive?
Nope. They will be deleted from the game.
This is very unfortunate, the team really should change this.
If i remember correctly the reason behind it was performance optimization.
But does new companion will be generated on the map in this case? Because otherwise I can kill every companion on the map.
And if yes, is this new generated person going to be the same person type (e.g. worrior or merchant), or can be the other?
As far as i know there are new companions being generated and their personality types are also random.
