Anyone remember that mod that guy made about Glasgow? And how funny and weird it was?

Well what if a module was made about the London riots? Its topical, interesting, not impossible.

You just need to make unique forts and towns, as well as a map and texutres and models, plus weapons and armour you could (porbably, maybe iunno) get as open source and hey presto! I think.

Just a fancyful idea from me, I dunno how to mod, just thought it'd be an interesting concept.
We've already got the pillage and raze mechanic... And bands of looters... Just make a cricket bat and a tracksuit to equip yourself with and we're ready to go.

Can you give any more info than that?
The "Last of the Greatest Warriors" is....not enough to build a mod from.
It's hard to tell from the spelling, maybe he meant "The Least of the Great Warriors". It's a world where peasants and recruits start at level 30, and you get pwned by anyone who has a minute to spare, until you reach end-game levels. Fun, eh?

Sounds like it would be an end of an era mod. Where technology is beating out the warriors so they're dying off. Like the pike and shot beating away cavalry for good.

OR an Ultimate Warrior style mash up fight between everything.

i'm new in modding i want to work in a mod
i want to participate in a mod of the "song of ice and fire" knows as the series "game of thrones" i want to starting making westheros and then putting some historical events in the game "if its possible" after achieving the stability

Go ask one of the established teams if they need help, and go from there. If none of them give you work, which I doubt will be the case, then start your mod.

That's how I got my start.

I wish someone would get a Mongol or steppe warfare mod on track. This engine was practically designed for this kind of warfare.

Does anyone know how to port a mod from mount and blade to warband
Yes. You've got to know real well the original mod code and be familar with many of the Warband changes and additions. Unless it's a small, trivial mod, it is quite hard and involved. So, to answer the spirit of the original question, "if you are a noob, don't even think about it".
