Customize your kingdom army by talking to a kingdom troop. You need to have your own kingdom and a castle/town to recruit these special troops.
 
Hey, I have some ideas...

1.) Every companion should have its own inventory.
2.) Upgrade inventory interface for causal dress for feasts.
3.) Special gifts for tournament winner + more popularity for him/her in town.
4.) Ability to enter into the Church structures + more politics.
5.) Fashionable armours for female characters.
6.) Markets and feast in villages.
7.) Great castles for high nobility and small castes for minor nobility.
8.) Alcoholic animation for drunk in tavern and fight without weapons.
9.) Better armorer and weaponsmith shops.
10.) Shop only for causal dress, wardrobe and religious habits.
11.) Ability to price persuasion in shop. (synergy trade + persuasion) :grin: :lol:
12.) Abandoned small castles for repair.
13.) Better land textures (fiedls, orchards) and roads.
14.) Better texture and shape model for masterwork/lordly item and worse texture and shape model for cracked/tattered item.
15.) Battle maps á la A Clash of Kings mod.

Hey Quint: do you remember what I said about getting in contact with other modders? I just want to point this out again. I believe that this could be very helpfull. I'd especially recommend the creators of my other favorite mod: Light and Darkness. Their mod includes story/ magic/ sneak - elements/ unlimited sea-travel (also awesome siege-mechanics to come in the next version) and at least the current version runs on my 10-year-old pc without a single frame drop, so I guess there is something they do the right way.  :grin:
 
They are. I am not sure if they need this other guy for English. In fact I believe there is at least one of them who speaks English, because the translation was horrible. ( I know they have found someone new, which they said makes the job better, but it's still the same team). I'm not quite sure how the contact would work, but since they also can go for the forum I doubt that language would be a problem, if that's what you wanted to say.
 
This mod is fantastic, I picked it up a week or so ago and now I'm hooked! Keep up the amazing work, Quintillius! Excited for future updates. :smile:
 
Combat abilities can't be removed, but you don't need to use them.


New Improved Shaders


Using the latest resources and additions, ElPadrino has created a very interesting mod for Warband which improves shaders and bloom effects. Now we have the tools to increase contrast It took my attention and made me adding this to Nova Aetas, creating gorgeous effects. Especially the jungles are so superb now. You no longer need to wait for Bannerlord. This is almost Bannerlord itself!

Instructions
* Warning 1.: This addon is not mod specific for now, so you'll get the effect applied to Native game and all mods.
* Warning 2.: This addon requires more resources and power from your computer.

1. Download and install to the same directory as where your .exe file is located.
2. Start game, press Shift + F12 to disable/enable effects.

Not really tru now, the last version is far better for performance !
 
Just returned today after a few months of not playing the mod and I must say this mod has really improved. It is a blast to play! Great job Quintillius!
 
I don't want to sound like a jerk, but it looks like all these improvements are graphical. You are fixing bugs right? I realize it must be hard developing a mod on your own, but I just want to ensure that the project's full potential is reached. The mod's great so far, keep up the good work! :grin:
 
In fact that's exactly what I am doing now.

Changelog v2.1
FIXED ISSUES
- Player no longer refused to enter castle when being invited by king to join
- Fixed bug where king's joining offer did not pop-up, due to false player rank condition
- Fixed originally badly written script so rescuing prisoners worked only for original 6 factions
- Dozens of new scene props (paintings, furniture)
- Player no longer being refused by guards at feast when being invited.
- Increased strength skills for soldiers to meet difficulty requirements (bare hands fighting)
- Fixed AI problems at Samarra and Durquba castles.
- Fixed colony import lines text showing 1,000 Fl./wk instead of 500.
- Fixed & tested rescuing prisoner quest; talk to guard to buy prisoner's freedom now
- Fixed traits overview showing player as Tengriism follower while being atheist.

BALANCING / POLISHING
- Food stock now limited to 650 (was 250)
- Changed overview of combat abilities to yellow
- Fixed needing 500 instead of 350 Florins for buying charter
- Redone code for selling ships, might fix odd bug where you can't sell
- Trippled amount of gallons of water per item
- Halved amount of parties of Cathars on map, but increased amount of deserters.
- Jungle effect now applies to New world battles as well (atmosphere)
- Corrected bullets weights
- No more 3x water consumption when player has court in desert or when player joined Sarranids/Khergits.
- Army traits no longer available for AI ladies
- New real acting cows for ancient ruins nearby Praven
- Chest added to farm

GRAPHICAL / PERFORMANCE


ADDED FEATURES
- Total of 60 new Actaoc armour, helmets, boots and shields
- Dozens of new heraldic horses for Agonic Order, Sarranids and Turguhns.

BUGS
- Player character is still listed as Father in law to several Lords.
- Horde has 3,500 troops per castle
- Ok i think the sieges are broken cause the enemy use normal field tactics.
- Customisable troop gear replaced by invalid items or not working
- Need better spawn points when raiding Acztaoc villages.
- Profits of enterprises need to rise a bit
- Disable formations for siege battles
- Customisable troops might re-uip their old gear together with new equipment on reload (might be fixed with manually reload).
- Allowed on feast but prevented by class
- Cathar voice acting is still overlapping with Bandit dialogue
- In colonies, colonist spawner spawns colonist alright but they dont move and spawn in the same space
- Turguhns:
I was utterly dissapointed in my Turguhns, they bugged out or something. When they initially invaded they had alot of the khergits land and some of the sarranids, but they quickly dissipated ingame and i went and looked and saw all their lords had no soldiers in their party, and the two castles they had left had garrisons over the size of 3000, then all the lords mysteriously vanished into thin air, now their castles just sit there untakeable but not able to do anything
- Glaive and a war-hammer(!) do not swing (halberd maybe too) [pole-axe does!]
- King sitting on ground in feasts
- Financial information guildmaster too much or either fix it to redirect to options screen

HARD BUGS
- Temporarily map glitches (black land, disappearing land)
- The passages in scenes are obsolete; don't use them.

NO BUGS
- Tournament swords are now from steel
- You financially support lords in exile at your court
