Looting and honor

Why doesn't looting innocent villages eat your honor. Currently looting is very highly overpowering way to get money with almost no negative sides. Also when you use recruiter you wont even see the problems with recruitment from looted villages.

It's a powerful tool alright, but dont you feel pity for the poor villagers?

I normally dont do this, except for retribution for my own villages.

In my last game the rhodoks gave me a outer rim village and it got raided by the sarranids -each time they rebuilt  it !  So I  was forced to to the same

The strange thing is that from villages you usually find goods worth even 10k. But if you raid caravan you get only about 1k. How can a poor village be richer than a rich caravan?

A village has population of 2-500 ppl, and you loot all their stuff.

Have you raided any poor village as of shortly? Do they yield the same riches or maybe just food?

lol, I tried village raiding in the blood and steel mod. You get around 3500 denars for each village raid plus whatever goods you can take and sell. Now that is what I call Looting!!!
