Is there any way to disable the kingdom restoration feature? I find it makes finishing a game really tedious- IMO a destroyed kingdom being restored by a former vassal should be a very rare event, maybe once a year, but it usually happens very soon after a kingdom is destroyed, I have even had it happen on the same day. 
I don't know how to mod to nerf or even get rid of this feature.
