As the subject line suggests, I am getting an "Incorrect serial number" message whenever I try to connect to a Napoleonic Wars server on Multiplayer on Mount and Blade Warband. I am sure I entered the correct serial key (from the "View CD Key" button when you right click on the game on Steam library).
I have researched a bit online and tried running regedit and re-entering the CD key I got into the Data. However, it seems that every time I try to join the server after, the CD key I just entered just disappears (https://i.imgur.com/X6J7JLq.png) I have also tried restarting steam/computer, reinstalling the game completely, verifying integrity of game cache via Local Files... Still can't join any multiplayer servers and getting the same annoying message.
I do have the actual DLC installed, as I can play it by myself without error when I host the game, since I do not need to enter the serial number then. I bought the DLC just today via Steam. Any response would be greatly appreciated.
