Dear Agincourt,
if you allow, I will share with you a handful of tips and pieces of advice.
Firstly, there are already mods set during the Hundred Years War, like
Deeds of Arms and Chivalry or
1429: The Hundred Years War. The latter is and OSP and its assets and source can be freely used by you (the permission:
https://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php?threads/1429-the-hundred-years-war.316764/post-7579902). You may take a look at main thread of the mod (
https://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php?threads/1429-the-hundred-years-war.316764/) or main thread of its submod (
https://forums.taleworlds.com/index...s-la-relance-hundred-years-war-submod.373552/).
Secondly, you may use non-OSP/ LSP assets for your mod
for personal use, that is, without sharing them with others. As long as they are only for your gameplay, you may use whatever you have access to. This applies to items from commercial games/ projects/ non-commercial mods as well. No one is going to go after you if you take some assets for your personal entertainment.
Thirdly, be careful with sharing your workplace/ college mail address in the Internet (in general). This applies to all websites.
Fourthly, you may try browsing through OSP/ LSP mods (
https://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php?threads/list-osp-lsp-modifications.377920/) or The Forge (
https://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php?forums/the-forge-mod-development.64/) in order to find items suitable for your mod. Clothing, battle enhancement, new items for NPCs and custom scenes should already be in there.
Fifthly, in general - in my opinion - it is not worth it to offer money for basic help with modding; people are very greedy sometimes and might want to extort the cash from a person. They might try to take advantage of one's lack knowledge of modding and demand money in exchange for really simple and straightforward tasks. No pointing at anyone here.
Sixthly, mods are supposed to be free; it is a standard. They are not supposed to be a valuable commodity kept in safe hands. Making mods is more of a service to the community.
I will not only pay but will also send a version of my mod for free.
Seventhly, it is easier to complete/ patch out a mod already in existence rather than starting afresh.
