How to remove purple desert texture?

I've cleared desert.dds and desert_bump.dds with pure white, yet this horrible purple still remains. Where is it coming from?

Those colors are added by the shader, they have nothing to do with textures. Only way to remove them would be by modifing the shader.

I see, thanks for the info.

Would you be able to tell me which shader in particular? Looking at the source, I only see generic map shaders, mountain shaders, and ocean shaders, nothing about desert or sand shaders.
