WOW...
Druzhina you acctually did historical researches for that I hired two developers and we still haven't found as much information as you.

If you want to become part of the developer team you will be allways welcome !

Nice mod . Clear ideas and straight foward. Just an advice, don't do multiplayer or plan doing multiplayer at this point. Try to stable the mod, release it and based on the players opinions make it multiplayer or wait untill this mod is about 75% done

BoE is mainly focused on multiplyer at the moment and I'm mostly working on the multiplayer.
Of course all features will be avaiable on single player too, but I'm going to hire a whole team for singleplayer related things only.

At the beginning of the development fivecoins and me were worked on an online-level-system similar to the one from cRPG,
but fivecoins stopped his work on the database on our server, so this feature is actually on hold.

I and many of the other developers are very busy in real life atm (you know christmas is soon ),
so we continue our work in January and we will hire some new developers then.

Most of these are based on prints by Melchior Lorck:

1) A Delli . mirror: A Delli
2) The swaggerer-sipahi . mirror: The swaggerer-sipahi
3) A cavalry member . mirror: A cavalry member
4) A rider with a large double banner . mirror: A rider with a large double banner
5) A soldier wearing a helmet . mirror: A soldier wearing a helmet
6) A soldier walking to right . mirror: A soldier walking to right
plus some from the other plates.

The colours are probably made up by the artist.

The janissary with the ship as a crest is from the late 16th century I Turchi. Codex Vindobonensis 8626, where it is obviously only for parades (mirror).

As you can see I also did some realy funny stuff with our admin toos, so you can expect some crazy moments,
if an admin joins the server and plays arround with the bunch of admin features.

We are close to release a big patch of BoE and we are still looking for some new testers.

Great work. This seems to be a very serious project.
I could share some stuffs with you, as the second part of my mod takes place in the second half of the 15th century.
