Free-form lines possible?

I never managed to crate curved lines.

Something like one straight line of archers and half moon shaped spearmen behind their back to also cover the flanks.

Like the circular form but cut in half so the archers can see the enemy in front of them clearly.

I know we can drag the mouse to change lane length, but is there a way to warp that line?

Could be a mod there somewhere. Seen the code for circular formation in dlls, could be modified to half circle.
