I've added almost all the ones you suggested to the list SunShangXiang was one of the few women who did actually take part in battles (even if they were minor skirmishes) and was of vital importance to the alliance between Sun Quan and Liu Bei she needs to be there somewhere.
@manxie/Kiarj: If either of you can do Huang Zhong an animated bow that would be awesome XD, he's normally portrayed as a deadly marksman, in both the novel and the games based on it.

@rgcotl: Nice set of weapons, textures are a bit primitive though, I'm guessing by Zhao Zilong you mean Zhao Yun ? I Could be wrong, I don't remember any other Zhao's from the Three kingdoms like asianboywonder said they need to be polished, Zhang Fei's weapon - blade needs to be shortened to become realistic, also Guan Yu's weapon was a Guan Dao (A dao on the end of a stick basically XD)
looksies:Your weapon looks more like a halberd or something it's still a good model though, Also Huang Zhong is depicted in the novel as having a sword not a guandao
Probably high tactics, high leadership (Zhuge Liang may have high engineer). I don't know if the mod team have any neat trick for this.Mondo said:Also, how will Zhuge Liang, Sima Yi and Cao Cao's, etc, genius translate to gameplay?

A "sworn brothers" feature like in RTK would be great. You could also create some sort of council where the ruler would gather his best generals to discuss very important matters.Or an option to make alliances with other rulers(this implies creating a diplomacy feature).
kuraiken said:I read the names of the officers, but Lu Bu doesn't appear. Does this mean Lu Bu of all generals will not appear ingame?
Do you have Ideas for diplomacy? Because I'd like it if you could build alliances and attack other factions together, as well as betray your partners, etc.
Uthred93 said:If the council feature is too hard to implement, you could create something like this:you could be made the king's adviser and help him in things like:which castle\city to attack next, which lord to favour(gonna talk about this in detail afterwards),which law to pass, which lord to promote(gonna talk about this too),etc.
Lord's Favour:
You could create a system of favours where each lord would strive to win the king´s attention. The king could reward a noble with money, lands,a very rare type of weapon\armor\horse,elite troops,a promotion, etc. This would be given to lords who had distinguished themselves in battle against a superior army, success in an important quest given by the king(or you),captured a strategically important castle\city,etc.This would be useful to appoint the new marshal or admiral(and not electing him like in native),to choose the new counselor or other things you come up with.
Promotions:
There could be a rank system in the army and navy.A system like:Ruler,Marshal|Admiral,General,Colonel,Captain,Lieutenant. The colonel, captain and lieutenant would most likely be in command of scout parties, defending key positions or escorting caravans.
Player Given Quests:
The player could give quests to lords or generals in case they lose an important object(like when you are defeated or robbed),need new recruits and cant´t waste time gathering them and other things.
Naval Battles:
There should be naval battles as they where very important in this era. But,do to the characteristics of china, they should be in rivers. You could make big, large rivers where the battles would be fought. This would also be a very important strategic element in the game as it would allow kingdoms to launch amphibious attacks on the enemy or sneaking up the river and attacking them from behind.

hmm do you have any idea for where to put Lu Bu?
alliances are planned, not sure about betraying
kuraiken said:Well, before Lu Bu killed Dong Zhuo, he was one of his generals, so he'd be a officer of Dong Zhuo who serves under the Han.
I'd really recommend betrayel as either a option under certain circumstances, or as an option for a scenario trigger.
Since in RTK we have trust&betrayel at every corner and officers switching sides as if it's their favorite hobby, it'd be definitely great.
