In Progress e1.5.8 wrong cursor shows up on open map, gear symbol shows up in open field battle

After a battle, a circle with a slash through it (stop, not allowed symbol) shows up regardless of where the cursor is placed.

Also, a formation issue, when I moved my 'spread apart' archers, they bunched into a very tight ball, so I used my mouse to draw a line to spread them out....as I move my mouse, the cursor turned into a set of blue colored gears and back to normal again.
