It is promotional material for a - by now - fairly professional studio. Of course, they will keep bugs to a minimum

And we have seen fairly little SP gameplay aside from battles.

Okay, first post on the forum, or on any bannerlord anything. Background. I got into warband and found it to be loads of fun. Then shortly after I found out about the sequel via the announcement video. Since then I have been looking forward to the game, however until now never said anything.
I have anticipated the idea of different mounts (mules, camels, elephants, etc...) or ambushed. Perhaps even a camp scene with guard dogs and tents, so that you can attack of sneak into enemy camps. Also they could make an x button function for more weapons than just javelins. Swords could be inverted  for blunt damage and arrows could be used to stab in desperate situations.
In the end though, weather they come out with this stuff or not, taleworlds is going to make a fantastic game.  Even if I am to old to play it when it comes out. All we can do is wait and see, because whining, demanding, and threatening that you will never buy from taleworlds again, doesn't help them make a good game. In fact it has potential to take away from the quality of the game. So quit complaining and don't get too invested in your dreams of what the game should be.
Gosh, I got really preachy there...

Oh well, posting anyhow.

Also Yaga = legend.

GUYS ! Is seriously NOone even gonna mention decapitations and such ? I know there were mods like that for Warband but if it was implemented professionaly in original game i and i know almost every other gamer would be very happy.

How can i tell someone i will drink from his scull if i cannot decapitate him in the first place ?
Now y'all think about that good ?

Decapitations give a satisfying 'wow' factor to the game, but they are extremely unrealistic. You cannot decapitate anybody in real life with a simple swing.

Decapitation and member severing was a thing, especially if the enemy wasn't wearing proper armor, e.g. peasants or low level bandits.

HEMA teaches how to behead your foe in this picture:

A bit out of context, but katanas were known to be able to cleanly cut off members.

I dissagree, there are many hisorical writings about mid-battle decapitations, and dismembering was a normal thing in battles. Losing an arm or a leg in one swing is legit. And im not talking about a simple swing, but in game mechanic if every weapon characteristic fits right, you should be able, for example to decapitate someone with a 2 handed axe while your horse gallopes full speed and you hit it right.

Bad gore isn't worth implementing, because it is bad, gamey and immersion-breaking. Detailed gore isn't worth implementing, because it will impact the performance of the game (Meaning fewer possible actors in one scene.). Not to mention that they probably don't want to risk their age rating.

Not to worry, though, mods will definetely offer this stuff.

Lteraly everything about mount and blade has been gamey from the beggining. If Taleworlds think they can not make that kind of details work in THEIR OWN ENGINE , custom made for the sole purpose of this game, then forget never mind, i will forget i ever wrote about it.
