As a suggestion, would be very nice to have the ability to destroy and repair briges. Maybe even upgrade them!. They could be tied to a nearby town and behave like one of the buildings.
This would be very useful to stop or slow down an enemy force that you cannot defeat. It would have to take a couple of days i'd say to destroy the bridge so it can be stopped and the force would be exposed. (should require an army near it to do it).
Consider it a scorched earth tactic. Adding to that it'd be nice to burn your own grain fields amongst other things to prevent the enemy from using it and perhaps starve it.
