Summary: Hours into my Bannerlord Sturgia Campaign. Year 1094 and was saving my files every 20 mins. Now I’m back at 1086 with near all my progress gone and my other save files corrupted. This is absolutely ridiculous. I want a refund since this corrupt organisation are selling a game that you no doubt knew wasn't finished. I’ve waited 2 years for console and spent €50.00 on release.
The game also crashes every now and again which isn’t fun either but bareable if your recent save is there..
Your telling me in 2 years of developing a game for console you never came across this bug once?
To any taleworlds hierarchy I’d like you to be put in the players position. What’s the point of playing if you can’t save your game properly. Really disappointed with this. Myself and the players who have similar issues shouldn’t be patronised with the solution; “we may fix it in the next patch.” Your game doesn’t work so how can you sit there and take money off people. I want my refund

Happened to me the first campaign and again later bit i. Caught it.

Temp work around for myself that works has been to make 2 manual "save as" files every once in awhile. 1 wont get overwritten the next time you quicksave so it dont get corrupted. Over time just delete old ones to not clutter everything. Or when you log out. Make a new manual save or 2. Then delete the current autosaves. The next time the game autosaves they will be new fresh saves. So should be safe. Least till they fix things.

Was an unfortunate unseen bug that happened with 1.9 on the console release. But this fix will work! Use the experience you learned to make a better more fun new campaign. Totally worth.

With the latest v1.0.3 update, we have sent some fixes related to this issue. Could you update your game and report to us if you are still experiencing this issue?
  • [PS] Fixed a bug that caused a save to get corrupted when overwriting save files. Old saves might still be corrupted when overwriting (this includes auto-save), so make sure to create a new save file (choose "save as") for any existing saves that you want to safeguard.
  • [PS] Fixed a bug that prevented the deletion of corrupted save files.
  • [PS4] Reduced the save file limit from 32 to 16 to allow for larger files without corruption.
    • If you have more than 16 save files, this will not delete your files. It will only prevent you from creating new files until you are below 16 again. You can overwrite all existing files.
