And of 1,111 voters, 702 (63.1%) voted it a 10 and 214 (19.2%) voted it a 9. To me that matters a bit more than the 50 some '1' votes that are obviously there just to drag down the score.

It's more of exactly the same.
If you liked Borderlands 1 and feel the need to have more of it - now with more ****ty meme references! LOLZ - then it's the game for you. It's what... err, RPS I think wrote in their review and everything I've seen from it over time seems to support the notion.

I think this should be a pretty good guideline if you want to decide if it's worth 14 bucks to you.
