Changing kingdom culture variables

So, I thought I was playing a norse character, played through the storyline, but after after leaving the Northhymbre faction and establishing my own player faction when going sandbox, the guards at my new conquests were Saxon, and all Lords who show up for recruitment had Saxon titles (Drythen).

Under 'Story' it also said my character was Anglo-Saxon. So dunno if that was a bug or I really forgot to select Norse at chargen.

In any case, I checked with MnBSaveGameEditor and changing "nacionalidad_type" to "6" gave me the correct Norse background in 'Story', and it *seems* like new Lords joining me now are called 'Hersir' as they should, though the first ones are still called 'Drythen'. My guards (for example in my Hall) are still Saxon though :sad: 

So my question is this: What variables do I need to check/fix in the savegame to get my char and kingdom recognized completely as Norse?

And if this is a bug somehow, and not me being forgetful, I'm playing version 2.036 - upgraded from the version before that mid-game, dunno' if that affected things.
 
you select your character background (including culture) at game start, both for a storyline or sandbox game.

Note: keep in mind that devs don't support a non-official game version (with tweaks/cheats or submods)
