Build .630 was terrible for me. Constant crashing, could not play for more than 10 minutes.
I had a lot of problems on vista with other games that caused constant freezes/crashes there are few that apply to M&B as well.
Here are the instructions on how i have got my M&B .630 working like a clock on vista (Including Single player that was also crashing from RGL errors)
- Disable UAC (if already haven't)
- Locate your mount and blade folder
- Right click -> properties
- Security Tab -> Select your user name
- Edit Permissions
- Select user name again
- Check each box in the "allow"
- Click "Apply" now it should take some time to edit access permissions on all the files in the M&B folder
- Once its done click ok and close the dialog.
- Always run the game as an administrator
After i added all the permissions my game stopped crashing, and i have been playing for 2 and a half hours straight without a single crash. Hope this helps other Vista/7 users!

Vista Ultimate 64bit
Nvidia Geforce GTX-280
Quad Core Q6600 (Overclocked to 3.2 GHZ)
8 Gigs OCZ Reaper 1066 RAM
