I don't think he was reffering that Bosnians were Illyrians, but that the Illyrian culture survived somewhat in the form of the equipment, at least, since Bosnia was a little closed for many new things that come from both East and West.Serbian said:You guys had this discussion without me? awwwww... Its really interesting how many nations try to relate to illyrians... you have to understand how hard it was for me to read all the posts before me when i usually just reply random things before even looking at the post.
You probably didn't read the thread, because we already had a discussion about that.Dijabola said:I just wana say: " Religion in Bosnia at that time wasent chatolic, it was somekind of heretic church called "crkva bosanska". Pope wanted to make something like a crusade on bosnia becouse of too many heretic factions wich was wide spreed in mountian regoins of bosnia. Whatmore religon was a misc of chatolic/ortodox (east was ortodox wich was closer to Serbia, west was chatolic closer to Hungary).
Sure. look at the map on the first page that I made and suggest what settlements should be Catholic and what Orthodox.Dijabola said:If you want I can make you research and give name and religion of the villages and castles. "
As I said, I like the idea, but I don't think that some big research is possible (or needed), because finding those settlements was hard enough, let alone finding what religion did their inhabitants have.Dijabola said:Well I must admit I havent read whole thread becouse I wasent playin nor activ on forum becouse of college My friend told me about it and I took some time to reply. I will do some research on it as soon as my last exam pass (25 aug). I will post it here, and I will not use only internet and my college books I will ask my teacher (nice guy thoug ). See ya 26

You are talking about banate of Bosnia in XII century,as independent state.Banate of Bosnia(banovina Bosna)were land of Serbian kingdom.
King Bodin(1085-1111)
Bodin was king Mihailo's youngest son .1085. Bodin came on throne, after his return from Antioch, where he was in prison. He gave authority to new bans:
-in Rascia, bans were Volkan and Marko,
-in Bosnia,ban was Stefan.
Bodin had two sons,Mihailo and Djura.

Well, that makes it even more utterly ridiculous then. Certainly one of the most nationalistic maps I've seen (and I've seen quite a fair share of them).Витез said:Brown color shows serbian population not territory of Serbian kingdom.Cheers !
Nah, I was just messing around and being bossy.Витез said:Let us stop ruining this topic. If you want to continue, you can via PM or Maremagnum, but leave topic about banate of Bosnia.
Mihailo,sorry for offtopic. Cheers!
