The recent videos make the wait worth it, should be incredible.
I like how much they reference Warband as inspiration for their gameplay.

I just started playing mount and blade online! I used to play in the early stages of the game but was in hibernation for years until now, after they have created MULTIPLAYER, which is what I always dreamed of.
But whenever I log in in the middle of the night, the Aussi servers are empty!

...just watched the latest war of the roses vids on youtube. looks awesome. can't wait.
only problem I have while watching the interview with the executive producer was that he mentioned there will be some gunpowder weapons. Not a big fan of that... although he did mention they were very 'non precise'

Tournament Rules
• Matches will be first to thirteen.
• Players may not use:
o Ranged Weapons (Throwing, Crossbows or Bows)
o Shields
o Horses
o Any non-Native Multiplayer weapons, e.g. Practice Staffs
• Default Nordic sword, Swadian sword, Sarranid sword are the only weapons allowed.
• Armour will be the standard duelling garb + leather gloves + leatherboots of no more than 16 amour, which will ensure that everyone has a comparative armour value. If players wear non-standard gear they will be disqualified.
• Players may change weapons between duels, however, once a duel has started you may not change weapons mid-way through.
• Players will not instantly attack as the duel starts, be sensible folks and treat your opponent with respect.
• Flaming or insulting other duellists can and likely will lead to being kicked out of the tourney. Again, please treat your opponent with respect.
• Any uncertainties regarding rules may be PMed to me. Same for any general concerns.
• Tournament to take place on Saturday night March 24th from 7.30-9.00pm. Server will open at 7pm for warmup. Tournament structure will be organized so that there are a maximum of 8 simultaneous duels with 4 referees.
• If any player is late or missed out on a match, they are placed to the bottom of the ladder and will versus the next available contestant. In special circumstances, I will give players extensions on this time. Please arrange your matches via PMs and also CC these PMs to me, so any disputes can be solved easily and fairly.
• Swadians is be the default faction of the duel tournament, other factions are also included but maybe randomized on depending on player demand.
