I shortened the handle and curved the handguard a bit, looks all right now I would think =D Though I think I have to redo the whole model, shortening the handle messed it up a bit and I had to do a bit of sloppy play to fix it =D and the handguard is kind of thin... Well It's not really gameoptimized anyways, just played around to see weither I could do it or not... seems like I could =D

I think perhaps all of us would appreciate better uniforms before the crazy hats suggested although having a tricorner hat would be nice

Well considering this mod is about Scandinavia, Bavarian and Austrian uniforms won't exactly help. We don't have an armour/uniform modeller (I think) and most of the elaborate stuff such as lace is wasted as we work on a FLAT texture which is converted into a 3D model.

Those uniforms weren't used till roughly the 1750s... and yeah as said already, this is a Scandinavian mod

Though I also have some suggestions about the uniforms, they should be remodelled, as they look now is more fitting for the late 1700s - early 1800s.

Also, backpacks shouldn't be on the model, use the picture i supplied as a reference.

Though the blue colour is way to dark, almost marina. Should be more like the other pic I posted (page 11)

The only unit in the Swedish army that used a grey uniform was the artillery.

The uniform on the picture you posted has no relations to the one in the beginning of the 1700s, so not really useful.

Hey guys. I've been a bit of a shadow on these forums until I stumbled across your mod, And I am deeply interested in the Great Northern War, and I feel that I could help. If you plan to add Norwegian units into the mix the site "www.northernwars.com" which has been references once here (for the danes) has a uniform template for regimental colors. Some of these colors and uniforms are strikingly similar to their Danish counterparts. Also I am a beta tester for KLA's European Wars mod for Rome Total war (which I believe was also referenced here too). I feel that I could help in the production of this darring mod and that I could help beta test if need be for bugs etc, Also I have a keen eye for slight imperfections in models and skins.

Anyways here's the Norwegian Templates I promised.
