AD1257: Lords from a defeated faction

I was wondering, where i can find the Lords from a defeated faction. I wanted to recruit some of them for my own kingdom, but somehow i cant find them. i checked many castles and towns, but i found nothing. anyone got an idea?

Usually, they defect to other factions.

They will appear in your Lord's Hall with their wives if they want to join your faction. And you should get an announcement.

And you can ask one of you councilors about their character to decide if you want them or not.

This is why I always start building relationships with lords from the very beginning. There are a huge number of Lords in this mod too.

In my current campaign I got a bunch from Lithuania and Portugal.

I guess most of them renounce their allegiance and join the other factions. But, you can still find some of them wandering around the map so it's all about luck bumping on them.
