    Also one more thing I forgot to mention. Sometimes during battles (usually larger ones), my sound will cut out completely.  Even when I exit out of the game there is no sound for anything (music, computer sounds, youtube, etc.) I have to restart my computer to get sound back.  Any help with this fix would be appreciated.

    I am not sure if this has been posted or noted but I get a weird error where the final enemy in a battle sometimes starts running at 200 miles and hour. Just sprinting unnaturally around the field.  It doesnt happen in all battles but seems to happen more when the enemy starts retreating.

    Is there a way or an option in this mod that allows you to control your other troops after being knocked down in battle? I tend to die a lot but it would be fun to take control of one of your troops instead of just spectating the rest of the battle.

    Everything is fixed!

    Here is what I did.

    1. Complete reinstall of game
    2. Fresh download of stand alone and Patch B
    3. Copied into the module folder
    4. Custom game worked fine no issues

    Also I cannot be sure but when I extracted the standalone file the first time it created a folder within a folder. So when I copied and pasted this to the module folder it copied the folder within the folder as well.  I dont if that is what would screw it up but this time I just copied the single stand alone folder called "BWReworkedv22Standalonenomusic112015" instead of copying the other folder called "Brytenwalda Reworked beta V22 Standalone no music 112015-5994-22first"

    I dont know if that would screw it up but it works now.  Thanks for the help and also for the Reworked mod concept.  I am in grad school with very little time to play or become really good at the game so the idea of making it more accessible to new players like me is exactly what I need.  I appreciate the efforts.

    1) Are you using the correct module.ini that I included with the Standalone.

    Is this located somewhere else? I downloaded the stand alone from here:

    I then extracted the file and then cut and paste it to:  F:\Steam\steamapps\common\MountBlade Warband\Modules

    Then I pasted the contents of each patch into this folder:  F:\Steam\steamapps\common\MountBlade Warband\Modules\Brytenwalda Reworked beta V22 Standalone no music 112015-5994-22first

    Also everything is extracted using rar

    Should I update the NiUpdater.exe as well?


    **EDIT** I also added the music file as well from the same site.

    Should I not install patch A and patch B? Or maybe just install patch B?

    Also i did try a different mod called 1257 a few months before and if I remember correctly there was some issues with texture things there as well.  Do you think it is better that I just reinstall the entire game?

    The same thing happened when I tried to start a campaign.  A bunch of texture errors that forced me to tab out to close them.  This happened every time I had the option to hit the continue icon as well.

    I emailed you the log. The first error came when I just clicked the custom battle option. I wasnt even in game yet.  Then I just entered a battle on the default custom battle settings and that is when the rest of the errors popped up.  I haven't tried to join a campaign yet so I will see if anything else pops up when I do that.

    Hello, I just recently installed the reworked mod (stand alone) plus both patches and when I try to join a custom battle the game crashed out and I got a ton of texture errors. I didn't write them all down since there was probably over 100 but here is a sample of some of them:

  13. A few beginning questions

    Instead of starting a new thread I figure I would just add on to this one.

    1. My armies morale keeps dropping due to the number of people in my party.  What I don't understand is that my renown allows for 165 troops and I only have 145 yet the morale keeps dropping and I lose troops to desertion.  Is there anyway to counteract this?

    2. Is there anyway to get companions to read books? I remember being able to do that with the Floris mod but I do not see an option to do it here.

    3. I am playing as a vassal of Pisa.  When I recruit a lance it always seems like they are arches or only upgrade to crossbowman.  I almost never get infantry or cavalry troops it seems and so when I fight in a battle I end up with a large majority being only archers.  I end up having to recruit mercenary infantry or cavalry to just to have a somewhat balanced fighting force.  Is there anyway to get a more balanced troop force?

    4. I can only recruit 4 companions even though the screen where you recruit companions says that others are available. The only other place where I get can companions is the recruit noble option.  Is there anyway to get more than the 4 companions and 3 nobles?

    5. The trainer skill is listed as a personal skill but I have read different things that says the skill stacks with party members even though says personal skill.  I just wanted to make sure this is true before I dump trainer skill points into my companions.

    I bought a manor but what do you need to do to buy a fortified manor?  Also what is the best way to manage the upkeep of the army? Right now I am paying somewhere like 5k a week for wages but I can barely afford this.  Is there anyway  to cut down on the upkeep?
  15. Diplomacy bugs

    One diplomacy issue I have faced playing as a vassal to Pisa is that I seem to be at war with everyone when in actuality I am only at war with the Papal States.  Every faction near me shows as being hostile. What is worse is that I go to a city and request peace and pay like a thousand dollars or somewhere around there.  Then after a day or two the faction I just made peace with is now back to being hostile against me again.  I don't understand it.
  16. A few beginning questions

    Thanks for the replies, I saw that the crossbows do like 30 damage to go with the 30 damage of the bolt so I figured that was better than the bow which does around 9 damage and the arrow that does 30 (looking at beginner level equipment. I also assumed that crossbowmen were better than archers when dealing with heavily armored troops. 

    Since you cannot retreat troops what do you guys usually do tactics or strategy wise on larger battles when there are a ton of reinforcement waves.  It almost assuredly means the death of all my starting troops and most likely the 2nd and 3rd waves. This is especially true when my archers and crossbowmen run out of ammo.  Is there a consensus on how to manage this instead of losing the first few hundred troops?

    must be on languages/en/ folder. And your game launcher also set up to English.

    Yeah that is where I unzipped it.  In that language folder there is another folder labeled "en." In that folder I see two files: factions.csv and troops.csv.  When I go to join a game though all the towns and cities are still labeled in Latin.  For example, Rome is still called Roma. 

    *EDIT*  Actually I have just realized that the names of my troops is in English.  I am playing as a vassal of Pisa and noticed that my troops are called Italian Foot Spearman or Italian men at arms. I guess I never noticed that before.

    Maybe I need a fresh install? I originally downloaded the 1.1 version.  Then I downloaded the 1.11 version, both times using the moddb link from here:  http://www.moddb.com/mods/anno-domini-1257/downloads

    Is there a version that is straight to the 1.11?

    I don't know if this will help but the settings I chose for the game are:

    1. Lance recruitment
    2. Rebalance is on
    3. Chose solo to start
    4. This came from the very first battle I faced when playing the game.

    If there is any other information or setting that you would need from me let me know. Thanks for the help and I appreciate the work that you have put into this mod.  If it can't be fixed I don't believe it is a game breaker anyway.  Just annoying text is all.
