GTX 660. I have been updated all system.I used windows 7

Don't hold your breath for a fix. Judging from the patch notes they're concentrating on fixing in-game bugs and balance issues. This seems to be low on the list of priorities.

What worked for me :
- delete \Documents\Mount and Blade II Bannerlord directory (saved games may be lost)
- delete C:\ProgramData\Mount and Blade II Bannerlord directory

Then the horse reaches main menu

Man... This worked for me, thanks to you.... Can't believe something this crude was the solution we where all waiting for... So then it's an issue of incompatibility of files that game creates during install or earlier runs that are incompatible with newer patches loaded as mods on the basegame?

Can't believe the developers couldn't come up with something like this before and answered the community.

Dont work bro  Im crying...

I finally managed to fix it. Someone posted on the Steam forums that Windows 7 users may need to install update KB2670838. This has worked for me (Windows 7 64-bit, Nvidia GTX 770).

Seems like that made my GPU crash.

People, I have been struggling to launch the game this whole week after the release on Monday. I was unable to start the launcher, it would simply start and stop, never show up. I tried almost everything suggested on the forums - nothing helped.

Today, I have decided to clean up my PC. It was more than two years since my last reinstall of Windows. Since all my projects are on a separate drive I did not have much trouble, I only needed to reinstall my programs. So I did a windows reset, booted the laptop, installed Nvidia drivers, and voila - the game launcher started, the game started, everything works!

I honestly think it is not the developers' fault, they do care: look at all the good work they are doing, they released two patches already. Most likely why the game does not launch for you is the same as for me: some incompatibility with some file and/or some access blocked somewhere deep in your system which is quite hard to find.

If possible, I do suggest you look carefully at your files, make backups of your projects/documents/etc, note the programs that you have installed and use, and make a windows reset. I bet it will help 100%, also it will bring you a fresh experience of Windows again :xf-wink:

Edit: To those who blame devs for not including dependencies: stop. On the fresh windows install I installed Steam, installed the game, and all the dependencies did download along with the game.
