Very much enjoy reading these, you guys did a fantastic description of each ranking so far, look forward to the next ones.  It keeps morale and motivation strong for the tournament.

Week 3 Power Rankings

1. One Eyed

OE was considered the number one team coming into WPL2,  and after two weeks they remain there. With a convincing 12-0 win over Beans Boys, and a close 11-8 win over West Knights (A top three ranked team coming into WPL2) they cement their spot at the top.

OE has proven to be a balanced team, the additions of DeathAngel, Insane, and Can has really added to their strong inf lineup. Although OE's closed map game is on point with Oodle, Arys, Matthew and Vorn playing particularly well in Week 2, their opponents wK proved that they still have some work to do on their open map game. The third set of the match (on River Village) would not have been nearly as close if it weren't for some excellent individual cavalry plays from Can. If OE can cleanup their open map game and cavalry cohesion and combine that with a strong closed map they'll easily dominate most other teams for the rest of the duration of the tournament. Overall with their top level play and dominant closed map game OE have a very real chance of winning it all.

2. West Knights

This week saw wK put up against one of their top competitors, OE. While the match was likely one of the more anticipated so far, it managed to pass by un-streamed. Nonetheless, in an exciting final set, the match was decided, with wK losing by a small margin (11-.

The first set did not pan out well for wK, with them only snagging a single round. The next set saw a stronger showing from wK. A substantial presence by Lagstro on the scoreboard helped earn wK two rounds. In the end though, the second set, and therefore the closed map went to OE. The open map had an entirely different turnout. Whereas wK struggled on the closed, they put on the pressure on the open map. If there was a place for wK to turn the match around, it would have been then, and nearly was. On both sets, Cru boasted chart topping scores, as would be expected for his open map cav. A 3-2 victory on the third set put wK in range of a comeback, a further two wins on the next set left them one round from victory. However, OE ended up barely clinching the necessary amount of rounds to earn them the victory.

All in all, wK has one solid win under their belt, and one, near loss to a top three team. As a result, wK stays steady at number two in the rankings.

3. Fail RaTs

This week, Rats surprised the community. Though it was incredibly close, Rats beat out tK with a score of 10-9. It is important to note that a key tK player, Jeff, was absent for the entirety of the match. I personally believe that Jeff has a play-making potential that could have tipped the balance in tK’s favor by an extra round or two. The players that made a showing for Rats would be Nevino, for the first three sets, and John for the final two. What I saw this week in Rats, was a solid team, beating one of the top contenders, but only barely, and with an advantage. That is why we have hesitantly boosted Rats above tK. But who knows what these ranking will look like by the end of the tournament?

4. 9792e Regiment

After both Weeks 1 tK looked great going into Week 2, expected by most people to smash Fail RaTs and keep moving up. Unfortunately for them FRaTs clinched a narrow victory, winning the biggest upset so far in WPL2.

The biggest factor most would say that contributed to tK's loss was missing their key ranged player (and arguably best player) Jeffrey9792. Without Jeff their ranged squad couldn't perform nearly as effectively as they normally would.

However even without Jeff, tK is usually considered to be extremely dominant on closed maps. It seems that despite a strong performance from their infantry squad present for the match (Tito, Guacc, Aporta and Sigi) they really struggled on San'di'boush where they were expected to roll over FRaTs's infantry.

Overall no one on the roster really stood out, with their scores being relatively even across the board. A strong team performance, but much weaker than the previously 2nd ranked team should have had, leaving them at 4th after Week 2.

5. No Team For Old Players (tie)

Tied for 5th place with Rynwulf after an extremely dominant 12-0 victory over Wappaw in Week 2, No Team For Old Players (or OLD) seem to be finding their rhythm and improving rapidly, despite a hard loss to 9792e (tK) in Week 1.

The team's captain Ron Burgundy had a great match, topping the boards twice. Strong performances from the rest of the team as well; particularly Fiery, Chev, Hayden and Mav. OLD will be looking for a strong victory over BeardFuzzilicious in Week 3 to continue their upward momentum and hopefully challenge some of the higher ranked teams in the weeks to come.

5. Rynwulf (tie)

Rynwulf has had a solid performance in the first 2 weeks of WPL2. After a 12-0 route of LEs's House, and a close 11-8 win over TSC, Rynwulf sit 2-0 going into week 3.
While RW has performed well, they will be going to get their first test of the tournament when they face tK( a top 3 ranked team at the start of WPL).
While not favored to win, if they turn give tK a run for their money, they will definitely open some eyes and show they are a legit playoff contender.

 i could say we was missing a major factor for our closed which was brave and for open i was jumping from 90 to 100 ping the whole open map , yes jeff is a major part of there teams core but honestly it was the mistake with there cav dieing to nevino early in rounds on sandi and there inf had some good rounds but there performance was not up to expectation.

Other than that good job...
