Nah Basically closed Alphas are for devs to have fun get rid of the bigest bugs and laugh at the general populace because they can't play it.

Closed beta is basically alpha but with invited people and quite a bit more of features and eye candy

Open beta is like closed beta but anyone can play it

Release is a version were there should be no game breaking bugs. IE a final release.

Thats what you get for playing more betas than a Russian has had vodka
