Recruit
outright total control of allys and vassals might be a bit much.

But, a system allowing us to target castles, villages, cities, as well as nobles and label them as "off limits, low priority, or high priority", using influence would be fantastic.

Example. you are at war with Southern empire. you target Poros, spend 400 influence to label it "off limits", allies and vassals will then NOT attack poros, and will instead pick another target.
or, you then target Lavenia Castle, and spend 100 influence, and label it, "high priority", allies and vassals will then move Lavenia Castle up in their threat table, and choose to siege it, over other targets, they deemed priority.

Using this system we might go futher, and allow us to target specific vassals and spend influence to suggest they attack a target, or defend a location as well.

Personally I'd be okay with a simpler system that allows rudimentary commands like "hunt bandits", "recruit troops (and garrison them)", defend fiefs in wartime.

We also need to be able to give directions for caravans which are partys by definition as well. Things like "support workshop x" (getting the needed raw materials), "buy (war)horses" or a general "sell high buy low".
