Hey all. Not sure how alive matchmaking is over in EU, but I have a new mixed map that you all are welcome to try and use if the interest is there.

Ive been calling it Creekside but you all can obviously organize it within the module however you want.

I attempted to make a map that played similar to castellum both proportionally and strategically. It has some more closed spaces compared to castellum but it still tends to play mixed from what ive seen with cav heavy comps working fine. For 6v6 I would recommend giving it the same class limits as castellum and I imagine most teams will run either 2-2-2 or 2-1-3. Weve been testing it in NA pickup parties and reception has been very good. I have already made multiple changes based on feedback and would absolutely love to get some feedback from you all as well.

can admins add some new maps please, if one of the maps doesnt work just remove but playing same maps again and again really being boring, i feel like i recently playing only aldea dumar, beirteas and reveran

It’s always the same thing tho: admins add new maps after players asked, players lack automatism on the new maps, they say the new maps suck, they ask the maps to be removed.

Since Grynn is killing the last parts of the warband community, is there something we could do to prevent it? Maybe we can collect some ideas and discuss.

As far as I remember TG Arena had a few guys ddosing aswell and suing them afterwards, I heard they contacted TW/Lust, someone got more info about it?

I am not an expert, but if the DDoS protection does not work, a service provider may start legal action regarding attacks on its infrastructure, which is punished under the EU law. There is MerlinZ who was infamous in the community for DDoSing other Warband servers, but he apparently had been convicted in the UK before for doing the same thing.

There is MerlinZ who was infamous in the community for DDoSing other Warband servers, but he apparently had been convicted in the UK before for doing the same thing.
Issue is Warband Servers can't withstand ddos attacks as they are very outdated. Yes ofc you can always sui the person responsible but good luck finding actual proof. Lots of bots attacking the servers is not enough. And Turkey is not in the EU which makes it even more difficult.

That is really bad... I hope you will succeed though, good luck to you and WBMM.

Same situation with arni when he was ddosing ludus, IG? and and NC servers. Russia doesn’t care about this stuff
