Guys !
You can change animation of holding two handed axe , because it looks like holding two handed sword ;p
In my opinion , the character should hold axe by two hands.

Unfortunately I reinstalled my system today and I don't have any games installed at the moment. BUT the red banner with a white valknut is clearly bugged it is a small square and doesn't even cover the shield. If you want to see what it use to look like check out the vid in my signature.

As for the off placement of the raven banner (white banner with black raven) it looks retarded, that was one thing that did not need to be reforged, it looked way better in the center imo.

Being a King - The only issue I have with this feature is you should get the faction banner of the kingdom you pick to lead. If a player wants to change his banner they can do that with the cheat menu. The king's banner are not available through the cheatmenu.

Thank you for your feedback.
The banners are unchangeable. The cheat is just that, a cheat so don't count it as a feature. It was added for testing purpose and since lot of people asked for that (and I need it again) we put it back but we are not going to enlarge that cheat.
About the symbols, the new design try to move some symbols from the central metallic part of the shields. We will reconsider this.


I personally don't care about cheats, but the questions was if we play as a king why don't we get the kingdoms banner for our own? Those are some of the better looking banners and it would be nice to use them.
 
Hey one quick note - I'm having an issue with the shipwright (or captain?) on the beach in Friese near the beginning of the main story questline.  The ship captain tells you to board the ship, and normally the small crew and Brunhilda and you and the ship captain boards the ship and a small tutorial starts, and this informs the player how to control the ships.

I'm having a bug where this tutorial freezes up because the ship captain won't board the ship.  He just sort of walks around near the gang plank and won't actually board.  This prevents the storyline from going forward.  Indeed, you can't even tab out of this scene.

Could this problem be caused by the fact that I already have ships?  I played a long while before starting the main story.  Thanks for your feedback.  This is the only bug I've noticed so far.

Hello cpkuntz!

In Reforged Edition this should work better than in previous release, but it's not fully fixed. If this bug is still appearing, you should try to push him a bit.
 
It's better to, while you're in a dialogue with the shipwright, keep the dialogue window up until the other members of the crew has passed him and gone onto the ship. Then it should work 80 % of the time.

Yes, I've done this and it still hangs once I start playing (after scene/map loaded). What other information would you like to help resolve this?
 
I've loaded up my old save and got hooked on the story. So far so good. Though now I'm stuck on the quest Bjorn gives you, to hunt West Saexe foragers. I think I'll cheat fog of war off, but "go look for this party that roams freely" is not a great mandatory quest necessary for moving on in the storyline.

What is your distro, GPU and GPU driver? Are you on open beta?
 
Hey guys! Great beta so far. But I've found a glitch, I'm not sure if anyone has noticed, but whenever I swing an Ulfberht, a false Ulfberht or Ragnar's Langseax the weapon turns invisible for a few seconds, after the swinging animation ends, the blade becomes visible again, this doesn't happen with the thrust animation. I'm not sure if this happens with any other weapons but it doesn't seem to happen with common swords (I think). Just thought I'd let you guys know, keep up the good work!  :wink:

This is a playlist i made, with european folk music.
I like to listen to the Irish ones while playing The Irish main quest.

Theres also a song in old english, Irish and one about Odin if your playing Norse.

I recommend you use it when you get tired of the in game music.
 


I know someone mentioned this issue before but I can't find the post. So I just opened VC (I haven't played it in a few days) I loaded my save game just like I always do, and this happens, as you can see the banner on the shield looks weird and the game is extremely laggy when I enter scenes, plus the loading screens are longer than usual. The lag is so extreme it freezes. It's like 1 frame per minute. Is it because of the latest update or something, I'm not sure, could you guys help?

EDIT: Okay I don't how to upload photos, but my banner is the white Valknut with the red background and the banner on the shield is just a small red square with the Valknut in the middle and rest of the shield is white
