I wouldn't want to have to clean the garderobe unless it's on a slope with a goodly amount of water flow.  These circular keeps are all fun and games until the garrison dies in the third week of the siege due to a cholera outbreak.

It should be noted that those Mallorcans had more time on their hands to plan theirs, although not as fast a system to run 3DStudioMax with. It took 11 years to render a version using the StoneMason(TM) plotter devices.
The key thing for me is the way the roofs all drain into the cistern so there is plenty of water when storms run in from the sea.

It is one of the best castles out there.  Keep in mind that it was built while the Byzantine Empire was still in existence, so their masonry was available.  I only got to visit for a few hours at the tail end of a port call in '93, but it was even better than the castle in Rhodes that the Mussolini tarted up in the '30s. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palace_of_the_Grand_Master_of_the_Knights_of_Rhodes I caught that during a very short port visit in '92.

As a "out of left field suggestion, is there any chance you'd consider adding fortified mansions for villages?  They'd work like mini-keeps: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fortified_manor_house

note about my castles: my castles are entirely fictional and have no realistic value whatsoever (or atleast thats how it is atm)
