Stuck in broken seige mode

Was in a war with two factions and was sieging a town an army of the other enemy faction attacked me. I convinced them too end the war and we didn’t do battle. When I came back too the siege map (preparation for siege map) the siege menu on the left disappeared and I was unable too do anything. I was able too move the map around like I would in general and click and the movement icon appeared but my character didn’t move and stayed in a tent surrounded but siege machines I was building.

It reverted back when the faction that owned the city sallied out too attack and I won

It happened something similar to me yesterday, patch 1.0.10
I was besieging a town when the defenders sallied out. I won the battle and killed them all, but then i got stuck outside inside the tents without the possibility of doing anything. Moreover, the city defenses kept pelting me even though there was no one left in the city to man them.
