Starting Controversy Value of Lords Linked to Personality?

So I decided to start a new game recently, and I know that lords have mostly randomized personalities upon the game start. I also noticed each lord starts with a controversy value, sometimes quite high, ranging from 100 to 60 and 30 or so. If a lord starts with high controversy, could that mean he'd have a debauched or dishonorable personality? I want to know so that I can start raising relations with prospective vassals right away. Just wondering if anyone knew/noticed this before.

Not quite, I've seen good-natured/upstanding lords with 100 controversy but higher controversy seems to have a higher chance to defect their current liege and join another one.
