Everything about this mod looks awesome. I'm waiting for the new version. I'll play as a Turkish captain, serve the Sultan of Johor for some time and then establish an Ottoman Vilayat in the area, rule the land on behalf of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent. Force Portoguese out, settle the disputes between Muslim factions and make non-Muslim natives bend the knee, and mission accomplished :smile:

It isn't dead yet, version 1.2 is being developed.

it's a more stable version of the mod. with new minor changes.

changelog
- new armors and weapons also stat rebalancing
- 5-6 new mercenaries
- added rebel and independent armies
- added custom troops for player’s faction
- sea traveling and sea battle
- taking a part in lord’s army by choosing “My lord,I would like enlisted in your army"
- added minimap
- added new background music

Thanks for the update! I Was looking forward to it! I'm gonna drop some feedback when I'm done testing it!  :wink:

Edit: Played a bit and I already have to say that it feels way more polished than in the earlier version. Adding Freelancer also is one of the best things which can happen to a Warband Module!

Edit2: Might be some kind of bug or missing flags, but big parts of the Laotian Cavalry start without a mount. Since I am on this ranks it kind of spoils the fun of being in the army, because I'm one of those poor guys aswell... and Accessing the inventory doesn't help...
 
I tried the new updated version. It's nice! I like the new options and the diplomacy!
But haven't you made the handcannon too weak?
Also, why the sharpshooters of the Player's faction don't use their muskets also I give the order to use only ranged weapons?
When fighting in a battle between the Portuguese pirates and other enemies of mine, I supported the pirates and I got positive relations with them. I can't fight them now. How can I fix this?
Also, I made my own kingdom. How can I send my diplomats to other countries? I don't see this option in the menu of the chancellor.
I hope you will continue the development of them mod! I like the feature of crouching when reloding a musket. I form my musketeers in 5 rows spreaded out as much as possible, so when the front ranks shoot and crouch, the rest can fire. Does anyone else has some interesting tactics?
 
Very polished mod, I'm really enjoying it so far after just started playing a few hours ago. I would suggest to add shield bash, other than that thank you and I hope this keeps being worked on.

Edit: Has nearly everything I've ever wanted. Swords, shields, muskets, pistols, formations, horse charge actually hurts, etc!

Please continue to work on this mod

For sending diplomats to other countries, I think you must have a companion be a chancellor for that option.
 
There were some elepaphant mounted units in the previous version and they were quite successful - knocked down many enemies so you have prisoners to sell!
I saw that there is still elephant in the items of the game but I didn't notice a unit using it.
