Not fixed. I have the same issue after 2 years. Unbelievable.

Same here, game is crashing except it does that after the execution and talking to Radagos, at world map - I can still acess to menu, can exit the game/main menu/save (except it actually not saving), click to pause/speed time, but all map is on pause, music is playing.
Tried at least 5 times

I know what do to.
So, you must enter to bandit hideout, and LOSE THE FIGHT FIRST TIME. Then you group drag you out, and you must wait to recover HP little bit, and attack again. Then when you WIN SECOND FIGHT should be ok.
