Quick question, is it possible to rename your companions found in the 1257 mod for mount and blade Warband? I have tried using the export and import character feature but the names stayed the same. I have tried renaming companions in the .txt folder of the mod and starting a new game but that also did not work. So I'm wondering if there is a way to do this if so could the method be shared with me. Thanks in advance for any answers to my question.

There is a... "trick" that I used to use a few years ago to change the stats of the companions in a mod but I don't know if it still works.
It's a known one and there might be a thread in this forum too: it should be called something like "Warband 1.158 Import/Export NPCs from Statistics screen v1.01".
