[Question-Suggestion]Connection Speed and New Animations

I hace a slow connection(1 megabit). And that ruins everthing. If I lower my graphic settings, would it lower my ping? Or is there any other way to speed it up?
And, I'm sure this has been told before, but new animations are terrible

And the animations are fine, what are you talking about? It's not like you go "OMG THAT IS SO MESSED UP" While your sword slices someone in half ingame isit?

Animations are NOT fine. The devs have expressed the wish to fix them in one of the good animation threads so I'm not worried about that.

And, another problem, when the map ends, men and horses start doing some weird dance. It's quite entertaining though.

Heh, yeah. I consider this a "feature", not a "bug", just out of sheer awesomeness.
