It's also a very small area. The woods are nice, and see plenty of visitors, but the lakeshore is just some tens of meters of difficult terrain. Outside of that is a city of 100k people, so a couple of nice angles aren't worth visiting for when the tradeoff is probably the highest mosquito density in town.
That said, there's a little bit of ground there I could potentially set a semi-hidden tent at later in the summer if I feel like it.

The moon is looking odd, like a button on a piece of cloth. The vignette effect is extreme. Not a fan of that.

Last Lughnasadh I climbed the local hill and made a tiny altar to Lugh for a bountiful harvest. I left an offering of wild blackberries and sweet fennel. FYI, blackberries and sweet fennel work surprisingly well together!
