Old Mod is making my game crash even after I got rid of the files

I used a mod called Manage Garrisons before the big update. I've since gotten rid of all my mods from the previous version as none of them worked anymore. I can load the game fine and start the campaign but if I go to one of my castles/city's and hit manage garrison the game crashes does anyone know how I can fix this? I deleted the mod that makes it crash from the games module folder I'm not sure what else I can do.

Some mods save their config files to the Documents folder. That could be what's screwing up your game. You could try clearing those out or verify the game files

Yep there are plenty that don't actually get deleted and the end up affecting the game even when not active. OP try deleting the files.

Some even change vanilla files -in that case if they dont give directions youll have to verify integrity/ or reinstall. Its why mods aint ideal
